Secrets Revealed?
Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.Such a beautiful verse! To know that what the Lord chooses to reveal is ours forever! It is given for our benefit to hand down for generations to come. There are things we will never understand.
Job could not understand and even questioned the Lord why all those things were happening to him. Job 38:1-41 God did not answer Job's questions but asked Job a series of questions. God used Job's ignorance of the earth's natural order to reveal his ignorance of God's moral order. If Job could not understand the workings of God's physical creation how could he possibly understand God's mind and character?
God gives us enough direction in His Word how to be saved, how to live, how to marry, how to raise children, how to conduct our daily business etc. It doesn't take unlocking great mysteries of the Bible to know this. When we don't know the answer or don't see that there is a brighter day ahead, that is where faith comes in. We don't need to know all that God knows to have faith, we just need to know Him.

I too find it amazing that God desires to share with us a part of His mind, to involve us in His master plan, and that He rejoices over us. I've learned over the past year to love God for who He is; not what He can do for me or the blessings He bestows, but just because He is God. He is almighty, prince of peace, concelor, comforter, king, friend, wonderful one, God with us, creator, provider, el shaddi, adoni, and so much more. He is so worthy!
One of my best friends shared with me that God was teaching him to seek His Face and not only His Hands. I thank God so much for Josh cause that little phrase reminds me every time I pray to seek First His Kingdom knowing that everything else will be added.
Ok, now I'm ready to sing Glory!
